Three Rivers Park Closed After Flooding
Thursday's storm wreaked havoc on Woodbury's roads and parks.
Three Rivers Park will be temporarily closed due to damage after the recent storms, according to a press release from First Selectman Gerald Stomski.
He expects the park to reopen early next week.
There are unsafe walking trails that have been washed out, unstable stream banks and high waters that are still receding, said Stomski. Fallen trees and debris are still an issue.

“We will let the area dry out over the weekend so that the cleanup crews can begin work beginning next week," said Stomski. "We don’t want anyone to get hurt from any of the many hazards presented from the storms."
He said he appreciates the understanding and cooperation from the public.
