Updated Storm Info, Snow Totals for Middlebury, Woodbury

OK, I admit it — I really wanted to title this article “You Gotta Get the Bread and Milk.” But I settled for the above paragraph. No matter how many times it snows, this video doesn’t get old!

Keep scrolling for the forecast. The biggest change since the previous National Weather Service forecast is the addition of sleet and a winter storm watch for Middlebury.

The Latest NWS Forecast:

• Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 17. Northwest wind around 6 mph.

• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 32. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

• Friday Night: A chance of snow, mainly after 4 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 23. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

• Saturday: Snow before noon, then snow, freezing rain, and sleet. High near 33. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Light north wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible in Middlebury; 1 to 3 inches possible in Woodbury.

• Saturday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
