Theft of Multiple Wallets at Bally's Prompts Police Investigation
The wallets were taken from lockers in the men's locker room.

Between 5 and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, five lockers were broken into at in Middlebury, prompting police to open an investigation.
In the men's locker room, the lockers were broken into by a person or persons who cut off the locks, according to a Tuesday, Dec. 6, press release from Lt. Richard A. Wildman. He said bolt cutters were most likely used.

Several wallets containing cash and credit cards, along with unspecified personal items, were taken.
Anyone who may have seen something suspicious while at the gym is asked to contact Officer Fred Marcantonio of the Middlebury Police Department at 203-577-4028.
