WATERBURY CHORUS ADVANCES IN COMPETITION

Waterbury based Valley Chordsmen a-cappella Barbershop Harmony Society chorus recently qualified to compete at a District level competition

Portland bound! The Waterbury based Valley Chordsmen a-cappella Barbershop Harmony Society chorus recently qualified to compete at a District level competition in Portland Maine in October. The growing chorus under the youthful direction of Rueben Barnes, welcomes singers interested in joining them at this exciting time. Rehearsals are held every Monday night at 7:00 pm at the Bunker Hill Congregational Church 274 Bunker Hill Avenue in Waterbury.

The Valley Chordsmen chorus draws men from surrounding towns; men who enjoy the fellowship of learning, singing, and entertaining throughout the area. Their enthusiasm is high as they prepare for the upcoming competition. A key attraction of the Barbershop Harmony Society is the comeraderie that develops among members and other choruses.
