Waterbury Man Who Stole Jeep Dies in Crash in Middlebury
Police say the man stole the Jeep in Derby, which triggered a pursuit.

It began as a report of a stolen Jeep in Derby, a brief police chase, and ended with the death of Jordan Jones, 21, of Waterbury, in Middlebury, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.
Police said Jones stole the Jeep from Derby and led police on a brief chase in Waterbury that was called off because of the traffic conditions. Police in Middlebury later spotted Jones and the stolen Jeep Tuesday evening and he crashed into a boulder at 1906 Straits Turnpike between Park Road and Turnpike Drive.
Jones would later die as a result of his injuries.
