Waterbury Women Arrested For DUI in Middlebury After Car Flips Over Twice

A woman was arrested in Middlebury for driving under the influence after her car crashed on I-84 and flipped over twice. 

Erica Shehu, 23, of 365 Maybrook Road, Waterbury, hit a snow bank on the left side of I-84 near exit 16, flipping her car twice and landing at a rest upside-down. The accident happened on Wednesday at 9:11 p.m.

Shehu was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for back and neck pain and charged with DUI, failure to drive in the right lane, and driving too fast for conditions.
