Waterbury’s Municipal Stadium Fireworks Delayed Due to Weather

Waterbury’s fireworks show at Municipal Stadium, 1200 Watertown Ave., will now take place at approximately 9 p.m. Sunday, July 6.

The show was postponed due to the weather forecast.

“Due to the major renovation of the grandstand area, there will be no access to the inside of the stadium,” according to the city of Waterbury website. “Parking and closest access for viewing will be the North and South parking lots.”

Gates open at 6 p.m. and admission is free. Frankie’s will serve hot dogs and refreshments.
