The Watermark at East Hill to Host Seminar on Retirement Living Options

Resident Gini Dreyfus to provide first-hand account of retirement living experience

On Thursday, April 9, The Watermark at East Hill will host its monthly Discovery Luncheon, a seminar for adults ages 65 and older and their families who are interested in learning more about retirement living. The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the retirement community, located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

April’s Discovery Luncheon will feature guest speaker Gini Dreyfus, a resident who has lived at The Watermark for nine years. She will lead an informal discussion with the group about her decision to move from nearby Heritage Village to The Watermark and her experience with retirement living over the past decade.

Originally from Hudson Valley, New York, Dreyfus is a former dog handler who showed champion Airedale Terriers for nearly 60 years before moving to Connecticut.

Gini has been here since 2006 – she knows every inch of our community and is happy to talk about all of it!”

Attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by The Watermark’s chef, and can also arrange for a tour of the community.
