The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Woodbury and an advisory for Middlebury.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for a long duration significant snowstorm that is expected to dump between 9-18 inches of snow on Woodbury.

Light snow is forecast for today, which will grow heavier and steadier late tonight and throughout the day on Monday, the National Weather Service predicts.

Hazardous driving conditions are expected and of course the worst of the snow is predicted to fall during Monday morning’s commute to work. Winds are also expected to gust up to 35 miles per hour as well.
