Wellspring Offers Women's Group Based on The Artist's Way

Wellspring Counseling Services in Middlebury is offering a series of group workshops designed for women to explore their creativity while cultivating their own sense of self awareness and developing their inner spirit. Renee Alberino, LMFT will lead the discussion group, A Journey to Discovering Your True Self, held on Tuesdays over a 12-week period beginning October 7, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The group will work from the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron and will explore a different theme each week. The series encourages personal growth, empowerment and confidence among participants.

“We will create space for pure potential by examining negative patterns and limiting beliefs that are holding us back from living life,” said Renee. “I have seen amazing transformations take place with this 12 week program.”

Renee Alberino is a licensed marriage and family therapist, who works with groups, individuals, couples and families. She sees clients in Wellspring Counseling Service’s Middlebury office and is a certified Gestalt therapist.

Participants must pre-register and reservations will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis. The group is limited to 10 participants. The cost will be $250 for the 12 session series, which includes a copy of the book and refreshments. Wellspring Counseling Services are at 850 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury, Connecticut.
