Wine Truck Crash Snarls Traffic in Middlebury
The incident occurred Thursday morning on I-84.

MIDDLEBURY, CT - A truck carrying wine and a Toyota Prius crashed on I-84 near exit 17 eastbound in Middlebury Thursday morning, snarling traffic for miles, according to police.
The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire personnel, reports the Waterbury Republican-American. The two people in the Prius also suffered minor injuries in the 10:30 a.m. crash.
Wine and diesel fuel from ruptured fuel tanks spilled all over road, the clean up which contributed to the traffic delays.
