Winner of Pet Portrait by ShawnaLee Announced!

A huge congratulations goes out to Elizabeth Setaro and her sons Ryan and Adam! They won a Gift Certificate for a Pet Portrait by ShawnaLee during Hidden Acres Night of Caring!

“Cricket”, a four year old black Labrador Retriever that loves the outdoors and water, was hand sketched in Charcoals by ShawnaLee. Elizabeth supplied ShawnaLee with many photographs, and the one that helped the portrait stand out was one that was taken recently while outside in the fresh air.

Elizabeth won the Gift Certificate while attending Hidden Acres fourth annual Night of Caring fundraising on September 19th 2015 at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury CT. The event featured a Silent Auction and live drawing demonstrations by ShawnaLee Kwashnak.

Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding Center offers life-changing services provided by the horses, staff and volunteers. It is their mission to provide unique, life-changing therapeutic services to those in need, regardless of financial means.

ShawnaLee Kwashnak, a Middlebury Artist specializing in portraiture of pets and children, offers portraits in Graphite, Charcoal and Oils. Her Charcoal portrait of Gabriella recently won 2nd place in Graphics at the Richter Association for the arts.
