Winner of Raffle Announced!

Portraits by ShawnaLee announces the winner of her booth's Raffle for a Free Pet Sketch!

This year's winner is Pete Caiazzo best known for his restaurant, Frankies at 700 Watertown Avenue in Waterbury CT! Pete chose to have his sketch created of his beloved late "Lucky". Lucky came into Pete's life through chance when Pete was donating his time helping to feed the homeless through St. Vincent De Pauls and a stray dog kept coming back to him. It didn't take long for "Lucky" to have a new home!

Every year St Georges Episcopal Church hosts a Blessing of the Animals on the first Saturday in October. Animals of all kinds come to be Blessed by Pastor Andy!

This years event featured Blessings for all animals, pet trainers and groomers, as well as local rescue organizations, and pet artists, including Portraits by ShawnaLee, collectibles and homemade food for sale.
