Winner of Raffle @ BCB 2018 Gala Announced!

Congratulations to Christine Harris and family who won a Gift Certificate from Portraits by ShawnaLee during the 2018 Brass City Ballet's Spring Gala Event performance of Beauty and the Beast. The Harris family was thrilled to win their Gift Certificate and had their two dogs, Bradley and Noah rendered in Graphite by ShawnaLee.

This year's performance by Brass City Ballet will feature The Adventures of Peter Pan on April 13th at the Naugatuck Valley Community College. Be sure to bid on Gift Certificates again this year! ShawnaLee has donated a sketch of your pet,and another for a watercolor sketch painting of your home!

Brass City Ballet is a non profit 501 (c) (3) organization that shares the art, technique and joy of dance by offering Recreational & Pre-Professional Dance Classes for all ages. More than just a ballet, they are a family of dancers!

ShawnaLee Kwashnak, Middlebury Mom, portrait artist and Girl Scout Leader, loves to draw animals and people and has shown her work throughout Connecticut and has been featured in a number of Magazines and local television channels for her portraiture. She supports animal welfare and created the Danbury Animal Welfare Society's Greeting Room Mural. She is a DAWS partner in addition to supporting Whisker's Rescue in Southbury CT etc.. ShawnaLee teaches numerous art classes in Middlebury CT.
