Winter Tubing To Return To Woodbury
Tapawingo Tubing will operate out of the former Woodbury Ski Area property.

WOODBURY, CT – Winter family fun is coming back to Woodbury starting next winter when the new Tapawingo Tubing opens to the public.
Located on Washington Road at the former Woodbury Ski Area, the 38-acre property will start with an all-new winter tubing park, which will be completely re-engineered with new runs to delight riders of all ages.

The property was recently purchased by Eric and Emily Anderson, who also plan to operate the new venture. “We are excited to bring this property back to life, giving the families of Western Connecticut safe, family fun throughout the winter,” said Eric Anderson.
“As we make progress on the updates to the property, we will be posting images to our social media pages. Our website will be online soon. There is a lot of work to be done, and want to share that with everyone,” added Anderson. “We are also in the process of building our team and looking for experience snowmakers and groomers to work with. No strangers to family fun, the Andersons also are owners and operators of Quassy Amusement and Waterpark in Middlebury, along with their family.
The Andersons also looking into the future with possibly reopening the ski hill portion of the property. “We have no plans for that now but will be considering how to best use that land.”
