Woman Receives $100K Jury Award After Being Hit By Hot Pasta
A man tossed hot and spicy pasta while at an eatery and hit the woman, which caused her to fall and hit her head, a report states.

WOODBURY, CT — Constance Koulmey, 57, of Woodbury won a $102,550 jury settlement after a man flung hot and spicy pasta across a restaurant and struck her in the face, which led her to fall and hit her head, which led to a concussion and other injuries, the Republican-American reports.
James P. Sweeney, 65, of New Jersey, who is an attorney, sent the pasta airborne after a dispute with another patron at the Oakville bar and hit his intended target and Koulmey, according to the Rep-Am.
The incident occurred back in 2015, and charges were originally filed against Sweeney but later dropped.
