Woodbury Apartment Proposal Draws Vocal Opposition: Report
A public hearing was held on the developer's proposed zone change request.

WOODBURY, CT — A local resident's proposal to construct 12 one and two bedroom apartment units at 219 Main Street North on 3.5 acres of land is drawing a lot of opposition from neighbors, the Republican-American reports.
A hearing was held this week where residents blasted the zone change request but no decision has been made as of yet concerning the proposal by the zoning commission. The big issue is that current zoning laws require 10 acres of land in order to construct apartments, and the proposal is to reduce that to 3.5 acres, the Rep-Am reports.
