Woodbury Brush Fire Cleared Without Incident Tonight

An illegal burn resulting in a brush fire that occurred at 49 Jacks Bridge Rd. tonight — Saturday, April 28 — was cleared without incident, Woodbury Fire Chief Janet Morgan told Patch.

The brush fire occurred due to leftover coals from a recreational burning and was put out right away, without the need for assistance from fire trucks, Morgan said.

The tweeted about the incident at approximately 9:40 p.m. this evening.
