Woodbury Budget Referendum May 24
Before that, officials will test the ballot machines.

WOODBURY, CT - The town's $32.9 million proposed budget will be put to a referendum vote Tuesday, May 24, but before that officials want to make sure all the votes will be properly tabulated.
On Monday, the Woodbury Registrars of Voters will hold a public ceremony at 11 a.m. in their office and adjoining conference room in the Shove Building on Main Street South to test the optical ballot machines. The public is welcome to attend.
Polling on Tuesday will be at the Woodbury Senior Community Center from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The 2016-17 budget carries a 3.1 percent increase to the town's mill rate, or 26.88 mills.
