Woodbury Firefighters Celebrate Mother’s Day with 30th Annual Pancake Breakfast

Woodbury firefighters took some time out to cook for local mothers.

It was a Happy Mother’s Day indeed at the Hotchkissville Fire Company in Woodbury as the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department hosted their 30th Annual Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast.

Local mothers were honored and rejoiced throughout the morning, as the firehouse doors opened at 7 a.m. with fresh pancakes, bacon and coffee served until 11 a.m.

According to Woodbury Fire Chief Janet Morgan the annual free breakfast was packed from start to finish and every mother was gleaming with happiness as they celebrated a day dedicated to them.

“The tables filled up quickly with friends, neighbors and families all chatting and catching up on current happenings,” said Morgan. “Smiles were the dress code of the day as everyone seemed to enjoy this annual event.”
