Woodbury And Local Farmer Sign Lease Agreement

In 2002, Woodbury bought 72 acres at the site from the Shepard family.

WOODBURY, CT — The town and local farmer Dan Logue recently signed a one-year lease deal that will allow Logue Farms to grow corn at Three River Farms, which Woodbury owns, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.

Woodbury will receive $4,000 under terms from the lease, and Logue will manage about 51 acres of the town-owned property.

In 2002, the town bought 72 acres at the site from the Shepard family, with whom Logue mutually worked the land.
