Woodbury Parks and Rec Offers Basketball Program

Woodbury Parks and Recreation is offering basketball travel teams for boys and girls in grades five through eight.

To increase the number of children playing at the travel level, Parks and Recreation is adding additional teams this year.

• Girls - Grade 5 and 6
• Girls - Grade 7 and 8
• Boys - Grade 5 and 6(Two Teams)
• Boys - Grade 7
• Boys - Grade 8

 The schedule consists of one practice and one or two games per week. Home games are played on Sundays.

The practice start date will be the week of Monday, Nov. 14. Registration is required in order to tryout. If the child does not make the team, the form and check will be returned.

Cost to participate is $150. No sibling discount is available. A separate shirt deposit check of $50 is required.

Travel Basketball Teams Tryouts
 
Girls: Wednesday, November 9
Grades 5 and 6:  6 to 7:30 p.m., Woodbury Middle School
Grades 7 and 8:  7:30 to 9 p.m., Woodbury Middle School
 
Boys: Both Nights required
Tuesday, Nov. 8  and Thursday, Nov. 10
Grades 5 and 6: 6 to 7:30 p.m., Woodbury Middle School
Grades 7 and 8: 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Woodbury Middle School
