Woodbury Police Blotter: Accidents on Judson Ave., Main St. South
Two accidents fill the Woodbury Police Blotter Friday.

A single car accident was reported on Thursday at Judson Ave. in Woodbury.
Lee Canty, of 22 Orton Lane in Woodbury, was traveling west on Judson Ave at approximately 3:36 p.m. when she lost control of her ’91 Infiniti Q45 negotiating a curve and struck a nearby mail box. The accident took place approximately 50 feet west of School St.
No injuries were reported and no citations were given. Canty’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

A two car accident was reported on Wednesday at Main Street South in Woodbury.
Brian Baker, of 102 Quanopaug Trail in Woodbury, and Paul Lipinski, of 51 Wolf Pit Rd. in Farmington, were traveling north on Main Street South at approximately 5:11 p.m. at the time of the incident.
Lipinski was stopped at a red light approximately 50 ft. south of Church St. when Baker failed to stop and struck the rear of Lipinski’s vehicle.
Neither parties were injured; both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Baker was issued a written warning, CGS 14-240 for following at an unreasonable distance.
