Woodbury Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Fraud, Theft

Reports of theft, fraud fill the Woodbury Police Blotter.

A juvenile suspect ran away from her home last week and avoided police and vandalized a police cruiser before being detained.

A Watertown youth left her home Thursday shortly before 6 p.m. and walked into Woodbury. A passerby alerted police the suspect was walking around the 500 block of Middle Road Turnpike. When Watertown PD showed up to take the minor into custody, the youth ran westbound down the road.

After a brief pursuit the minor was detained, during which time she began kicking the rear window of the Watertown police cruiser.

The minor was transported to Waterbury Hospital and issued juvenile summons for 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct.

A Woodbury man reported funds removed from his bank account last week

Fredrick Orkin, 68, of 400 Weekeepeemee Road in Woodbury, alerted Woodbury Police Thursday that funds had been removed from his checking account by fraud and/or forgery.

Police Officer Jody Rockhill is listed as the investigating officer in this matter.

A decorative piece was reported stolen from a Woodbury residence last week.

June Peterson, 58, of 361 Hoop Pole Hill Road in Woodbury alerted police Sunday at approximately 9:40 a.m. that a large cast iron kettle had been taken from her yard.
