Woodbury Police Blotter: December 3rd

A four car accident on Route 6 highlights today's police blotter for the town of Woodbury

There was a motor vehicle accident Wednesday on Route 6 in Woodbury involving four drivers, three of them Woodbury residents.

Michael Bria, of 31 Cam Ave. in Woodbury, Michael Start, of 59 Painter Ledge Rd. in Washington, CT, Christopher Rowland, of 250 Washington Rd. in Woodbury, and William Roche, of 98 Hoop Pole Hill Rd., in Woodbury were all involved in the accident.

All vehicles were traveling north on Route 6 approximately 1/10 of a mile south of Route 64. Bria, driving the first vehicle, stopped for another car making a left turn into a commercial parking lot. Start and Rowland were stopped behind Bria respectively. Roche traveling north struck the back of Rowland's care causing a chain reaction and allowing all four cars to strike each other.

Woodbury Ambulance members checked all occupants; no one was transported to the hospital. Roche's car needed to be towed but the other three vehicles were able to leave the scene.

Roche was issued an infraction, C.G.S. 14-240 for following to closely.
