Woodbury Police: The 4th of July Edition
Five arrests were made on 4th of July weekend in Woodbury, from DWIs to interfering with an officer.

Over the 4th of July weekend, the and Troop L of Litchfield conducted .
The additional patrols were partially funded through a Connecticut Department of Transportation grant focusing on drunk driving during the holiday weekend, according to a press release from the Woodbury Police.
Five arrests were conducted as a result of the patrols.

Roxbury Man Arrested for DWI
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, Woodbury police arrested Frank Bonaminio, 24 Sentry Hill Rd., Roxbury, for the following charges: DWI and failure to drive right.

He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and a Thursday, June 12, court date at Waterbury Superior Court.

Oxford Resident Arrested on Three Charges
At approximately 1:44 a.m. Friday, July 6, Jesse S. Yellen, 29, of 24 Carriage Drive, Oxford, was arrested on the following charges: DWI, speeding and improper use of high beams.
Yellen was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and given a Thursday, June 12, court date in Waterbury Superior Court.
DWI Charge for Sandy Hook Resident
At approximately 8:34 p.m. Saturday, July 7, Sharon L. Kearney, 43, of 2 Shepaug River Rd., Sandy Hook, was arrested on a DWI charge. She was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and a Tuesday, July 17, court date in Waterbury Superior Court.
Alleged Interfering With Officer Results in Arrest
At approximately 10:15 p.m. Saturday, July 7, Caitlyn Olsen, 20, of 24 Thorson Rd., Oxford, was arrested for interfering with an office. She was released on a written promise to appear and issued a Tuesday, July 17, court date in Waterbury Superior Court.
DWI Arrest of Bethlehem Man Made
At approximately 10:35 p.m. Saturday, July 7, Christopher Taylor, 46, of 493 Nonnewaug Rd., Bethlehem, was arrested for DWI. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and a Wednesday, July 18, court date in Waterbury Superior Court.
