Woodbury Prepared in Case of Possible Ebola Diagnosis
While officials say it is unlikely that a resident will be diagnosed with the disease, they are taking precautionary measures.

Officials are preparing in the unlikely case that a resident of Southbury, Woodbury or Oxford is diagnosed with Ebola, the Republican-American reports.
The Pomperaug District Department of Health, emergency management directors, first selectmen from all three towns, police, medical personnel, firefighters and ambulance teams are participating in weekly meetings to discuss protocols.
As part of an Ebola preparedness team, members are discussing protocols set in place by federal agencies as well as the scenario if a traveller from West Africa comes to one of the three towns, the paper reports.

According to the paper, officials have said they are prepared to respond in the case of an Ebola diagnosis and the preparedness team has been trained on the proper Ebola protocol.
