“I received a call earlier today (11:44 a.m.) from (832) 434-7254. The recorded message indicated that the caller was [giving] the Final Notice and that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.
The message instructed then says: For more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number, 832-434-7254. I immediately doubted the veracity of the call.

I did a quick Google search and found that this appears to be a scam. I tried to call the number a few times but have not been able to get through. I wanted to bring this to your attention so that you could get the word out to others that this is happening in the area.”
