WOODBURY, CT —A Nonnewaug High School student is being awarded with the Connecticut State Police Commissioner's Recognition Award after she worked to prevent a teen suicide.
Danielle Wildman was engaged in a Facetime video conversation with a friend on Feb. 1. The friend retrieved a loaded handgun and held it to her own head and made statements including, "I can't do this anymore," according to State Police.
