Woodbury Teen Arrested, Hospitalized After Steak Knife Threats

A 14-year-old Woodbury resident was arrested on Sunday after reportedly making various threats with a steak knife.

Police said the teen had gotten into a verbal argument with his mother and began pointing a steak knife at her during the course of the dispute.

The teen then reportedly threatened to harm himself with the knife.

Police intervened around 8 p.m. and no injuries were ultimately reported. The teen was transported to Danbury Hospital for emergency committal.
