In the 68th state house district, the winner is Republican Eric Berthel with 4,667 votes over Democrat Joe Polletta’s 4,211 votes, the Connecticut Post reports. In Woodbury, Bethel received 242 votes while Polletta received 163 votes.
For the 32nd Senatorial District, the winner is Republican Robert Kane over Democrat Donato Orsini, the Connecticut Mirror reports. In Woodbury, Kane received 1,286 votes while Orsini received 672 votes.

In Woodbury, Tom Foley and Heather Somers received 2,197 votes while Dannel Malloy and Nancy Wyman received 752 votes.
