Woodbury's Adella Dzitko-Carlson Participates In Concert Band

Eastern Student Adella Dzitko-Carlson of Woodbury Participates in Spring 2019 Concert Band

WILLIMANTIC, CT -- Thirty-four Eastern Connecticut State University students are participating in the university's Concert Band this spring 2019 semester. Concert Band is a blend of more than 80 musicians including students, faculty, alumni, local music educators and other talent from the eastern Connecticut area.

Among the student musicians is Adella Dzitko-Carlson '19 of Woodbury, who majors in Music. Dzitko-Carlson plays clarinet.

Performance repertoire includes classic band literature as well as challenging works from contemporary composers. The ensemble rehearses weekly and presents several concerts during each academic year.
