Caesar Rodney 12 Laurel 9 Chrys Roscoe paced the Rider offense hitting 2 homeruns including grand slam, tallying 6 RBI on the day. Jaxson Monroney and Griffin Tracy also had 2 hits for the Riders. Andrew Rigby earned the win in relief striking out 8. Kaden Shockley hit 2 home runs and had 3 RBI for the Bulldogs. Koby Shockley and Ryan Jones each had 2 hits for the Bulldogs.

Sussex Academy 18 Odyssey Charter 2 : The Seahawks jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Theodore Layton, Wyatt Skinner, Wesley McLaughlin, Douglas Horton, Hunter Bluto and Whitman Stout all had 2 hits for Sussex Academy. Skinner led Sussex Academy with 3 RBI's.

Woodbridge 12 Odessa 3

Woodbridge tallied 10 hits on the day, led by Sam Schroeder going 3-4 with 4 RBIs. Lextyn Wescott blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 5th. Austin Griffith and Cooper Andrews had multiple hits for the Blue Raiders. Seth Smart also contributed 4 RBIs.

On the mound, Will Hague threw 6 solid innings for Woodbridge, scattering 4 hits and striking out 4.

For Odessa, Matthew Bublitz went 2-3 with 1 RBI. Micah Evans hit a triple to lead off the top of the 2nd.

Tower Hill 5 Friends 0

Tower Hill's Marty Coyne struck out 14 and had two hits at the plate in the win. Kenyon Motley and Jordan Harmon had RBI singles for the Hillers. Corey Silberglied had two hits for the Quakers.

St. Elizabeth 4 Brandywine 2

Luke Trout, Eric O'Neill, Matthew Trout and Francis Olszewski all had two hits for St.Elizabeth. Ryan DePasquale and Brandon Gamble had one hit each for Brandywine. Luke Trout picked up his second win with ten strikeouts.

Sussex Tech 9 Kent Island 2 Sussex Tech beat Kent Island 9-2. Kent Island put 2 runs on the board in the first inning on a fielder's choice and an error. Sussex Tech answered back and would tie the game 2-2 on a sac fly from Carson Mears in the second inning. The Ravens would begin to pull away in the third inning on a sac fly from Jonathan Stokley and a solo home run from Malikye Wells.Carson Mears pitched 4 strong innings for Sussex Tech giving up 2 runs on six hits and striking out 8. Jeremy Vest, Jaryn Sample, and Dakota Culley all pitched well in relief for the Ravens. Sussex Tech was led offensively by Rosnell Lewis (2-2), Jonathan Stokley (2-3 5RBIs), and Landon Ruark (2-3). Malikye Wells (1-3 1RBI) hit a solo home run. Kade Hall, Adam Warrington, and Robbie LoRusso each added a hit for the Ravens. Kent Island was led offensively by Nathan Englemeyer (2-4).

Appoquinimink 5 Sussex Central 2 Evan Bouldin threw 6 innings allowing only 2 runs on 3 hits. Lawrence and Fleming led the offense driving in 3 runs. Cannon, Steen, and Anderson had hits for the Knights.

Indian River 8 William Penn 5

Indian River took the lead late and defeated William Penn 8-5 on Saturday. The Indians totaled nine hits. Bunting and Jarmon each collected multiple hits for IR and Roman Keith added his second home run of the season.

Roy, Grygo, and Wilson, all had RBI's for William Penn. Grygo led the way going 3-for-4 at the plate.

St. Marks 12 Smyrna 4 Michael Clarke got on base 4 times and scored 3 runs. Garrett Quinn was on base 4 times and scored 2 runs. Dylan Wiley had 2 hits for Smyrna.

Softball

Caesar Rodney 15 Charter School of Wilmington 2 Stacey Deputy was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Saturday, driving in four on three hits to lead Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity past Charter School of Wilmington 15-2 on Saturday. Deputy drove in runs on a home run in the first, a single in the second, and a single in the third.Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Sydney Hatch hit a solo homer.Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity notched four runs in the fifth inning. Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Ashlyn Schmidt, Hatch, Lyric Abdul-Rasheed, and Peyton Shields, all driving in runs in the frame.Shields took the win for Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity. The ace went five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out eight.P Colburn was in the pitcher's circle for Charter School of Wilmington. The bulldog allowed four hits and four runs, walking zero. K Hoban and E Saggione entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and two innings respectively.Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity hit three home runs on the day. Abdul-Rasheed went for the long ball in the first inning. Deputy went deep in the first inning. Hatch had a dinger in the first inning.Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up 18 hits in the game. Deputy, Hatch, Schmidt, Kaitlyn Horton, Vanessa Gaines, and Abdul-Rasheed all had multiple hits for Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity. Schmidt, Hatch, and Deputy each managed three hits to lead Caesar Rodney Riders Varsity.Charter School of Wilmington tallied five hits in the game. J Church and E Gaudolfo each managed multiple hits for Charter School of Wilmington.

Appoquinimink 6 St. Marks 3 ts: Savanah Larid earned the win for Appoquinimink striking out 15 Spartan batters. St. Marks took an early lead as Jordon Alexander singled home Ryleigh Thomas in the bottom of the 1st. Appoquinimink would score 3 in the 3rd on a double by Julia Weglarz and singles from Hailey Watlington and Lily Papellas. St. Marks would eventulally tie the game with solo homeruns from Morgan Hall and Amanda Oller. With the game tied at 3 in the top of the 7th with 2 outs the Jaguars took the lead for good when Alexia Fitzgerald singled home Chloe Bedwell for the go ahead run. Appoquinimink would add some insurance as Fitzgerald scored on a double off the bat of Weglarz as she finsihed the day 3 for 4 with 3 doubles. They would add one more as Watlington followed with a single scoring Weglarz to give the Jaguars a 6 to 3 lead. Julia Weglarz and Hailey Watlington both finsihed with multi hit and multi RBI games. Morgan Hall had two hits for St. Marks a double and solo homerun.

Laurel 8 Woodbridge 3

Bailey Ullman and Makenzie Whaley had 3 hits a piece for Laurel and Ashlyn Ullman added 2 hits for the Bulldogs. Makenzie Whaley and Alyssa Brittingham each had 2 RBI's. Kylee Hill pitched a complete game, striking out 7.
Payton Keeler doubled and scored 2 of Woodbridge's runs. Emily Peterson pitched a complete game, giving up only 1 walk.

William Penn 4 Milford 0 Madelyn Pritchard went the distance for the Colonials, allowing no runs and 2 hits while striking out 11. Khyliah Reynolds threw a good game for the Bucs allowing 4 runs on just 5 hits with 8 strike outs. William Penn took advantage of their opportunities on offense scoring 3 in the third inning. Rachel Haight walked and advanced on a wild pitch. Madison Perry singled to score Haight. Madelyn Pritchard doubled to right center scoring Perry. And Alexis Sumner singled to left scoring Pritchard. In the sixth Jadyn Davis scored on a hit from Renee Fields to add an insurance run. Ashley Bullock and Lillie Harrison had hits for Milford.

Lacrosse

Wilmington Christian School 10 Brandywine 5 WCS performers: Nathaniel Liu 5 goals, 2 each by David Saylor and Luke Fowler. Saves Edward Bullock 7 saves.

After trailing 4-2 at half, the Auks exploded for a 5-goal third quarter en route to a 10-7 win. Drew Duncan, Danny Kupiec, Vinnie Scibello, and Alex Starnes had two goals each. Conor Udovich had a momentum swinging third quarter goal and added an assist. The Auk defense was outstanding, especially in the pivotal fourth quarter when it held Rustin scoreless. Conor France 7 saves for Archmere.

Cape Henlopen 19 Tower Hill 4 CH Henry DiAmbrogi 5 goals 3 each by Michael Frederick, Jacob Schell and Luke Burton, 2 each by Cody Trivitts and Charles Fritchman. Evan Erhart 2 Michael Sposato 4 saves TH Eddie Nace 2 goals. Coale Crouch 14 saves for Tower Hill.

Broadneck 16 Cape Henlopen 13 CH: Elia Rishko and Kelly Bragg 4 goals each, Molly Mendez 2 goals.
