1. Newark's speed camera is on the move. See where it's now located (milfordbeacon.com) — Newark's mobile speed camera has been moved to Casho Mill Road near Downes Elementary School, with a 30-day warning period that began August 31 before tickets start. The city says revenue covers operating costs, with any surplus going to the Delaware Office of Highway Safety. Several other Newark corridors are listed as possible future camera locations.
   

2. Women's Soccer Ranks Seventh in Regional Poll (bluehens.com) — University of Delaware women's soccer, based right here in Newark, has climbed to seventh in the latest United Soccer Coaches regional poll after a pair of scoreless draws against Towson and UMBC at Grant Stadium. The team now heads to Bucknell for a non-conference road match and is already selling tickets for its next home game against Georgetown, which local fans can attend or stream.
   

3. Hazleton native elected UNICO National second vice president (standardspeaker.com) — Newark resident Richard A. DiLiberto Jr., a Wilmington attorney and former state representative, has been elected second vice president of UNICO National, a major Italian-American service organization. Living in Newark with his wife Faith, he has long been active in Delaware civic, legal, and cultural causes, from trial lawyers' leadership to the state's Italian Heritage and Culture Commission.
   

4. Perryville High Grad Dylan Maxwell Dies At 21 After Delaware Crash (dailyvoice.com) — A 21-year-old Newark resident, Dylan Edward Maxwell, has died following a crash at Elkton Road and Thorn Lane that shut down the roadway, Newark police said. Family and friends remember the Perryville High graduate as a hardworking plant operator who loved motorcycles, the beach, gaming, and time with loved ones, and they're inviting mourners to visitation and services in nearby North East.
