Next month, the Delaware Department of Education will name the 2026 Delaware Teacher of the Year, honoring twenty outstanding educators at a special celebration on October 14. Among these amazing teachers is our very own Christina School District Teacher of the Year, Danna Phanos!
With 16 years of dedicated service to the Christina School District, Danna is a proud University of Delaware alumna who now inspires young minds at Shue-Medill Middle School. As Team Lead, Math Department Chair, and Math League Coach, she is passionately committed to inspiring students with engaging and rigorous learning experiences.
