2026 Round Up for Christina at Giant Food

The Christina School District is proud to partner with Giant Food as part of the company's 90th Anniversary celebration through the Nourishing Our Youth Round Up Program, a community initiative dedicated to helping children experiencing food insecurity.

From July 10 through August 6, 2026, customers shopping at any Giant Food store will have the opportunity to round up their purchase at the register, with 100% of the donated change supporting programs that help provide nutritious meals and snacks for students in the Christina School District.

Funds raised through the campaign will directly support the District's efforts to address food insecurity which includes providing weekend backpack food programs, assisting families with outstanding school meal balances, expanding school-based community pantries, and meeting other nutritional needs identified throughout the District.

The Christina School District encourages students, families, staff, alumni, and community members to participate in the campaign by rounding up their purchases at any Giant Food store during the four-week initiative. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps ensure students have access to the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and succeed. The District also encourages schools and community partners to help share information about the campaign to maximize its impact and raise awareness of the ongoing need to combat childhood hunger.
