Today's riddle: What has a tail, but no body? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• When will it snow in Oklahoma? Check Farmers' Almanac 2026 prediction map (kansascity.com) — If you're in Wilmington, climatologists say our first measurable snow usually arrives around mid‑December, and the Farmers' Almanac's new map lines up with that late‑November‑to‑December window. The broader forecast focuses on Oklahoma and other regions, but it uses Wilmington's Dec. 15 average as a key example of how its snowfall timing guide compares with National Weather Service records.
• State Police Arrest Wilmington Man During New Castle Car Dealership Burglary - Delaware State Police (delaware.gov) — A 38-year-old Wilmington man was arrested after state troopers responded to a burglary alarm at Glacier Auto Sales 2 in New Castle early Sunday morning and found him inside with a machete and burglary tools. Investigators say he intended to steal a vehicle, and he now faces multiple felony charges while being held on unrelated matters.
• 'Widow's Bay' win delivers this Delawarean his first Emmy Award (delawareonline.com) — Wilmington native Neil Casey just picked up his first Emmy as a producer on Apple TV's "Widow's Bay," which won Outstanding Comedy Series. The Salesianum and University of Delaware grad, who still visits family in Wilmington and serves on Salesianum's board, says the show's word-of-mouth success has been a unique high point in his long comedy career.
