Christina Board Announces Candidates for Nominating District A

The Christina School District Board of Education is pleased to announce the candidates who have submitted applications to fill the upcoming board vacancy for Nominating District A. Two community members have expressed their interest in serving on the board:

Meet the Candidates

To give the community an opportunity to meet these candidates and learn more about their vision for our schools, the Board will host a Candidate Forum on Thursday, February 5 at 6:30 PM, at Maurice Pritchett Sr. Academy. Parents, families, students, staff, and community members are all invited to attend and engage in this important conversation about the future of our schools.

The forum will be moderated by First State Educate, an organization dedicated to supporting public education and civic engagement. First State Educate is currently accepting questions from community members to pose to the candidates during the forum. Community Input

Following the forum, the Board will consider input from the community and the candidates before making their final decision to fill the vacancy at the Board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 10. The selected individual will fill the vacant Nominating District A seat through June 30, 2026.

We encourage everyone to participate in this process by attending the forum and submitting questions. Your involvement ensures that the Board makes a well-informed decision that reflects the values and needs of our community.
