The Christina School District is excited to announce an expansion of our health and wellness services through a new partnership with Nemours Children’s Health! We have launched School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) at four of our schools: The Bayard School, Maurice Pritchett Sr. Academy, Pulaski Early Education Center, and Stubbs Early Education Center. These centers began accepting student registrations in November.

Our SBHCs are designed to eliminate common barriers to accessing healthcare, such as lack of transportation, inconvenient appointment times, and concerns about costs and confidentiality. By providing a range of comprehensive medical and mental health services, along with health education, we aim to support our students in leading healthier lives.

Additionally, the Christina School District continues to offer school-based health centers in collaboration with Christiana Care at Brookside Elementary School, Christiana High School and Middle School Honors Academy, Glasgow High School, and Newark High School. Together, we're committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to access the care they need for a healthier future!
