Christina School Board Elections - May 12, 2026

School Board Elections will be held on May 12, 2026. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Four seats are open for election on the Christina School District Board of Education, representing Nominating Districts A*, B, F, and G. Six candidates initially filed to run, but one candidate withdrew, leaving five eligible candidates.

According to Delaware Code (Title 14, Section 1075 [b]), if there is only one candidate for a school board seat, that candidate is declared elected and no election is held for that seat. Therefore, there will be no elections for Nominating Districts B, F, or G, as each has only one candidate. The election on May 12 will be held only for Nominating District A.
