Christina School District Announces 2025-2026 Employee Champions
We are honored to recognize the following dedicated individuals as our 2025-2026 Employee Champions of the Year.

Earlier this spring, the Christina community nominated classified employees who provide exemplary service to students to our students and their families. Eligible nominees included staff from Child Nutrition Services, Custodial and Maintenance, Paraprofessionals, Secretaries, Technology*, and Transportation.
We are honored to recognize the following dedicated individuals as our 2025-2026 Employee Champions of the Year:
- Jennifer Mendick - Marshall Elementary School
Child Nutrition Services Employee Champion of the Year - James Rooney - Christina Early Education Center
Custodial/Maintenance Employee Champion of the Year - Jason Lomas - Networks School for Employability Skills
Paraprofessional Employee Champion of the Year - Sarah (Maxine) Jacobs - Newark High School
Secretarial Employee Champion of the Year - Elizabeth Willis - Lane Transportation Center
Transportation Employee Champion of the Year
From among our 2025-2026 Employee Champions, one exceptional individual will be chosen as the 2025-2026 Christina School District Educational Support Professional of the Year (ESPOY) and represent our district this fall as a candidate for the State ESPOY.
