Christina School District Announces 2026-2027 Employee Champions of the Year

Congratulations to out 2026-20276 Christina School District Employee Champions of the Year

Earlier this spring, the Christina community nominated classified employees from Child Nutrition Services, Custodial and Maintenance, Paraprofessionals, Secretaries, Technology, and Transportation who provide exemplary service to our students and their families. We received over 115 nominations and are honored to recognize the following dedicated individuals as our 2026-2027 Employee Champions of the Year:

  • Vijayasree Gaddipati, Glasgow High School
    Child Nutrition Services Employee Champion of the Year
  • Henry Benson, Glasgow High School
    Custodial / Maintenance Employee Champion of the Year
  • Gretchen Loose, Brennen School
    Paraprofessional Employee Champion of the Year
  • Dawn Hayman, Pulaski Early Education Center
    Secretarial Employee Champion of the Year
  • Justin Jenkins, Eden Support Services Center
    Technology Employee Champion of the Year
  • Michelle Staffone, Lane Transportation Center
    Transportation Employee Champion of the Year


From among our 2026-2027 Employee Champions, one exceptional individual will be chosen as the 2026-2027 Christina School District Educational Support Professional of the Year (ESPOY) and represent our district this fall as a candidate for the State honor.
