The Christina School District is super excited to invite students, families, and everyone in the community to kick off the 2025-2026 school year with two fun-filled community carnivals. These festive gatherings are designed to bring our community together for an afternoon of fun, connection, and memorable experiences — and best of all, they’re free to attend.

“We want to make a lasting impact this year,” said Christina School District Superintendent Dr. Deirdra Joyner. “We’re kicking off the school year with events that highlight our commitment to engaging families and strengthening community partnerships.”

The carnivals will be held on Saturday, August 16, from noon to 4 p.m. at Glasgow High School and Wednesday, August 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Bayard School.
