Baseball
Sussex Tech’s Matt Warrington pitched great for the Ravens, allowing just one hit while striking out 11 of his 19 total batters faced as they defeated the Blue Raiders of Woodbridge by an 8-0 score. Warrington also produced at the plate, going 3-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Tech’s Grant Lamers(3-3, 2R, 2RBI, SAC) and Jason Shockley(2-3, 1RBI) also had a great day at the plate for the Ravens. Woodbridge’s Gabe Wescott led the game off with a double for the Raiders.

Trey Matthews and Sean Kelby pitched Newark Charter to a 2-1 win recording a combined 17k's. Matthews 9 k's in 4 innings and Kelby 8k's in 3 innings.Logan Vivian had the 2 rbi's for Newark Charter. Zach Gwynn had a solo homer for sallies while Joe Sheets pitched 6 innings only allowing 2 runs on 5 hits.

Boys
3 goals by Thomas Gill, 2 goals by William Niebrozdowski paced the Senators of Dover to a 7-6 win over the Tigers of Rising Sun of MD.
5 goals by Eric Pincus, 4 goals by River Harper, 3 goals by Chad Connors, 2 by Daniel Manley paced the Quakers of Wilmington Friends to a 17-4 win over the Panthers of Polytech. Zachary Trabaudo led the Panthers with 2 goals.
4 goals by Dillion Ziemba, 2 by Brendan Wilson paced the Patriots of Newark Charter to a 8-2 win over the Raiders of Concord. Zachary Newsome led Concord with 2 goals.
8 goals by Logan Johnson, 5 by Cade Collins and 3 by Kurt Moyer paced the Spartans of Lake Forest to a 19-3 win over the Highlanders of McKean.
Girls
5 goals by Megan Noonan, 4 by Claire Estes, 3 by Kendra Schweizer paced the Lady Spartans of St. Marks to a 15-7 win over the Lady Pandas of Padua. The Lady Pandas were led by 3 goals by Rachel Delate, 2 each by Jordan Bramble and Ava Ruggeri.
Dover High Lady Senators were defeated by St. Peter and Paul of MD by an 11-10 score. Grace Gast and Riley McQuade each led the Lady Senators with 4 goals 2 goals by Ava Niebrozdowski.
Cecilia Carter led the Lady Panthers with 4 goals and 2 by Madi McKay as she also scored her 200th career goal but the Lady Panthers of Polytech were defeated by James M. Bennett of MD by a 15-8.
Softball
McKenzie Sweeney was 2-3 with 3 RBIs, Grace Rizzo was 2-3 with two RBIs and Sydney Hazelton had 3 hits for St. Elizabeth’s as they defeated the Lady Bulldogs of Brandywine by a 10-0 score. Miranda Wohner and Skylar Gallucio combined on a one hit shutout.
DMA had multiple hits by Clare Henry, Olivia Farris, Lexy Johnson and Nicole Elliot as they defeated the Lady Golden Knights of Sussex Central by a 12-1 score. Olivia Farris pitched a 2 hitter. Morgan Burton had a home run for Sussex Central.
Kayla Murray and Lauren Simpson combined to throw a 1-hitter leading the Auks to their second straight win a 12-1 victory over First State Military Academy. Ciara Trigg went 2 for 2 with a walk and 3 RBI's. Jocelyn Phillips scored 3 times and Meg Bohannon, Mackenzie Popp, and Annie Penrod each scored twice. Bridget Knitowski drove in 2 runs with her first career hit. Carmen Black hit a triple for First State.
