Join us in congratulating our seven Christina scholars who were honored by Delaware Secretary of Education

Seven Christina students were honored by Delaware Secretary of Education Cindy Marten at the annual Secretary of Education Scholars Banquet on April 7, which honors top seniors in the state for their outstanding academic achievement. We are proud to highlight Christina’s honorees, whose hard work and determination have truly set them apart:
- Daniel Okagbare, Christiana High School
- Kyla Rogerson, Christiana High School
- Zahara Langston, Delaware School for the Deaf
- Roman McMillan, Glasgow High School
- Andrea Safadi, Glasgow High School
- Carlos Lobo, Newark High School
- Njeni McKenna, Newark High School

The state has named the Secretary of Education Scholars every year since 1984. The number of scholars from each school is based on enrollment. Principals nominate the students based on their academic records, school leadership and community service.
