Dr. Deirdra Joyner Named to Mayor-Elect Carney’s Transition Team

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Mayor-elect John Carney announced the members of his mayoral transition team and subcommittees, comprising over 40 dedicated Delawareans from various backgrounds and areas of expertise. Among those appointed to the Vibrant Communities subcommittee is our very own Dr. Deirdra Joyner, who serves as the Deputy Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer of the Christina School District. Her strong ties in Wilmington and commitment to education make her an invaluable asset to this initiative.
