DTLR Celebrates U.S. Army Partnership and Spirit Week at Delaware State University, as Part of its HBCU Tour

DTLR, one of the country’s most successful lifestyle retailers with more than 240 stores in 19 states, today announced a new partnership with the U.S. Army and its “Welcome Back” HBCU Tour at Delaware State University.
Army Partnership
On Tuesday, Aug. 29, the U.S. Army and DTLR will formally announce their partnership with the U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) program at Delaware State University, Outdoors WRC Courts, 1200 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901. PaYS provides an opportunity for soldiers to serve their country while preparing for their future by partnering with a cross-section of corporations, companies, and public sector agencies. The PaYS partners guarantee soldiers an interview and possible employment after their service in the Army. The program is part of the Army's effort to partner with America's business community and increase soldiers’ success.
DTLR is the first and only retail of the Army’s PaYS program. By entering into this partnership, soldiers will be guaranteed an interview and possible employment at a corporate or management level at DTLR after the Army.
During the ceremony, remarks will be provided by Brigadier General Amanda Azubuike, as well as DTLR Vice President of Operations Jeff Bowden, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at DTLR Katrina George.
