Free Coronavirus Test Sites Available In Wilmington Week Of August 3

Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki today reminded City residents to continue to take precautions to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus. The Mayor asked residents to avoid large crowds, wear a mask, and wash and sanitize their hands frequently. FREE walk-up test sites are available this week in Wilmington. The Mayor today thanked the New Castle County government and the City and State Emergency Management offices for arranging these events, which will use the saliva test technique.

The Wilmington test sites are:

  • Wednesday, August 5: Congo Funeral Home Parking Lot, 2401 North Market Street, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Walk Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
  • Thursday, August 6: Latin American Community Center, 301 North Harrison Street, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. By appointment only. Call 302-320-6439.
  • Friday, August 7: Elbert Park, Elbert Place and C Street, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Walk Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
  • Saturday, August 8: Eastside Charter School, 3000 North Claymont Street, 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Walk Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
  • Saturday, August 8: Father Tucker Park, 9th and Lincoln streets, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Walk Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
