Glasgow High School Named Delaware’s ACAC School of Excellence

Glasgow High School's School Counseling team was presented with the FIRST American College Application Campaign School of Excellence Award

(Christina School District | Public Information Office)

We are very excited to announce that Glasgow High School's School Counseling team was presented with the FIRST American College Application Campaign School of Excellence Award for the State of Delaware this morning by Secretary of Education Ms. Cynthia Marten.

The School of Excellence awards honor schools that demonstrate commitment to student success and were key contributors in helping ACAC fulfill its mission of increasing the number of first-generation college students and students from low-income families who pursue a postsecondary degree or other higher education credential. A total of 86 high schools have received the School of Excellence award since the award program was launched during the 2019-20 academic year.

This year marked a significant milestone for Delaware as this was the state’s first year submitting someone to represent the state for the recognition. Out of 46 schools across Delaware, including all public, Vo-Tech, and Charter Schools, Glasgow High School was chosen as the standout participant!
