Glasgow HS Assistant Principal to Present at 2025 AERA Annual Meeting

Dr. LaChante Collier Bacon will present her research paper at the esteemed 2025 American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting

Dr. LaChante Collier Bacon, Assistant Principal at Glasgow High School, is making waves in the educational community with her recent achievement. Her submission, “Standing Up for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students: Practices of Culturally Responsive School Leaders,” was selected from over 11,000 entries and will be presented at the esteemed 2025 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting this April in Denver, Colorado.

At the conference, Dr. Collier-Bacon will showcase her findings in a Paper Session themed "Teacher and School Leaders Building Culture, Belonging, and Inclusion for Students." This session, within Division A Section 1 on Leadership, will concentrate on essential strategies for administrators and educators aimed at fostering equitable and inclusive educational environments.
